U.S. farmers adopt GM crops despite consumer acceptance uncertainty

In a new report, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Economic Research Service (USDA ERS) found that despite uncertainty about consumer acceptance, farmers in the United States have widely adopted genetically engineered (GE) crops since their commercial introduction in 1996.
