Laura Fine’s proposal to prohibit the sale of energy drinks to anyone under 18 makes the most sense. Chicago Alderman Ed Burke’s proposal to ban the sale and distribution of “highly caffeinated” energy drinks is the right way to go. Government should butt out and mind its own business.
