Harris Teeter Plans Piggly Wiggly Revamps

MATTHEWS, N.C. — Harris Teeter Supermarkets on Friday said it plans to close in the next few days five of the seven Piggly Wiggly stores it is acquiring in South Carolina and reopen them shortly afterwards.
