Grocery Outlet agrees to acquisition by Hellman & Friedman

Grocery Outlet, an extreme-value retailer, said Tuesday it will enter “its next phase of growth” following a definitive agreement for the company and its management team to be acquired by affiliates of Hellman & Friedman LLC, San Francisco.
