Funeral services are pending for Dave Simonson, former president of the Southern California division of the original Albertsons chain, who died Thursday. Simonson spent 26 years with Albertsons, starting in 1978 as a district manager in Southern California and being promoted to director of operations for the division, then division vice president and senior vice president.
