Four U.S. cities vote to pass sugary drink excise tax

On November 8, voters in four U.S. cities decided to pass a sugary drink tax. According to USA Today, the citizens of Boulder, Colo., and three California cities—San Francisco, Oakland, and Albany—overwhelmingly approved the local ballot measures.
