FDA okays Del Monte’s GE pink pineapple

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has completed its evaluation of a variety of pineapple genetically engineered (GE) by Del Monte Fresh Produce to have pink flesh, concluding that there are no unresolved safety or regulatory questions about the pineapple.
