Balchem Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Performance Chemicals & Ingredients Co. (SensoryEffects), a privately held supplier of customized food and beverage ingredient systems, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., for a purchase price of $ 567 million in cash.
